Wednesday, we finished the Routeburn Track by 10am and then began the drive. Our first stop was Milford Sound, one of the 8th Greatest Wonders of the World. We ended up missing the earlier boat time for the tour around the Sound so we just took the hike around the Sound ourselves. It was gorgeous and even found a few fellow mates from Auckland Uni! The next stops consisted of Mirror Lake, Te Anau and the Devils Staircase. Finally making it to our hostel back in Queenstown, we then enjoyed some wine and delicious fudge on the waterfront and watched the sunset, celebrating a wonderful day!!
