One of our last adventures together was Devonport. An adorable little beach town just a short ferry ride away. We went over for the afternoon and took a little bus tour around the town learning a lot about the history and different monuments and a bit about Maori culture as well. Afterwards found a chocolate boutique and of course had to try one of everything!
Later on in the evening before dinner we got some well needed massages and the best tea I’ve ever tasted! Then a little swim on the rooftop pool. Dinner was at a restaurant on the waterfront which consisted of something I’d never tried before (I’ve been trying to expand my palate out here) some chicken dish that was indeed expanding. Ended the night with drinks and the rest of the chocolate that had made it back to the hotel š
I was truly living my best life and really still am just back to eating rice for every meal. HA.
