And now what you’ve all been waiting for….some photos of my school!! I’ve received many questions wondering if I really go to school abroad or not, but turns out I do! Here’s a few of two of the three campuses that I took classes on: the Epsom and City campuses. The Epsom was a bit smaller a little like my school back home but the city, of course located right in downtown Auckland a bit bigger. I took four classes while studying at the University of Auckland, an education course, a politics course, a sociology course and a psychology course. All were very interesting and challenging at the same time, but here they do things a bit differently and there are only a small number of assignments throughout the course which means the exams were worth more (I was not a fan of) but on the plus side the lectures were recorded so that meant I could skip a few here and there if I had a trip planned which was really nice! Overall I learned so much about the culture in New Zealand which included the Maori people (the natives to the country). Above I have posted my walk to class, some of the lecture halls and a bit of around the campuses including my weekly curry from the vegan club, some studying, and a marae (sacred Maori meeting place).
