A fun little trip to the zoo!! Went out about an hour bus ride to the Auckland Zoo today, my last adventure in New Zealand. Sad, but fun! I can’t even remember the last time I was at the zoo so it was a lot of fun considering the fact that New Zealand basically only consists of birds and sheep. Above I have photos of some of the coolest animals I saw if I posted them all it would be a mile long. But it was a really cute zoo and a great day for it!! I also saw my first and only Kiwi bird which was so amazing!!!! The Kiwi is native to New Zealand and is flightless and are becoming endangered. The very blurry photo is a kiwi which was hard to capture because they are nocturnal and afraid of light so the exhibit was in a dark cavelike building. I added in two funny little videos of my friends playing with stuffed animal kiwis just to show a little better what they look like. Bummed I didn’t get to see one in the wild but still happy I could cross it off the bucket list on my last official day in New Zealand!!
